So if you are anything like me, you have established your goals and you are grinding trying to accomplish them. However, today I took a pause for the cause and enjoyed our snow day. It hasn’t snowed here since 2014 and I am not a fan of the cold. However, my son prayed for snow and really was excited to finally see it come to fruition. So, of course, he wanted his parents to come outside with him as he played. I layered up and joined him.
So often, we push pass these moments to ensure that we stay on task. Busily trying to finish work that seems like it multiplies with every task that is completed. But these moments of pause are the ones that helps us to get through the work and remember why we are even grinding so hard in the first place. We will always have work to do, however, my son is only 10 once.
Now and then it is good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.
